A remapping of your Chrysler is a relatively short procedure that can provide you a lifetime of performance improvements and enhanced driving pleasure. Remapping the Engine Control Unit (ECU) of your vehicle takes from one to two hours as we access the engine's software memory chip, read the data stored there by the manufacturer, and reprogram it through the OBD port to reflect your unique driving needs. In some cases, remapping can increase power from the standard of 130 BHP to more than 165 BHP. Remapping can be performed on Chryslers made after 2000 and utilize the on-board diagnostics technology.

Chip tuning is a similar procedure performed on vehicles made before 2000. It offers the same performance improvements - they are just implemented in a different way. With chip tuning, the ECU must be removed from your Chrysler in order to access the memory chip. Once the chip is read, its generic values will be replaced with values more reflective of your driving style and environment. The process takes between three and five hours to complete, but it is relatively easy to remove the ECU, and problems rarely occur.
